Pull Up
Starting Position:
  • Step onto the foot platform and grasp the handles shoulder width apart with palms facing forward.
  • Stand up tall, head up and maintain a neutral spine.
Movement:
  • Contracting the upper back muscles, pull your body up stopping just before the handles are parallel with your shoulders.
  • Slowly return to the starting position stopping just short of your arms fully extending.
Key Points :
  • Exhale while pulling up.
  • Inhale while returning to the starting position.
  • Do not allow your lower body to hyperextend.
  • Variation: Use a narrower grip.
